Sandra graduated in 1982 from Sheffield School of Physiotherapy.
After qualifying, she worked in Canada for 4 years as Physiotherapy Manager in two small Community Hospitals and then returned to England where she worked in the West Midlands prior to becoming Physiotherapy Manager at a BUPA hospital, where she met Chris.
After marrying Chris and starting a family in 1994, she took a short break, but as the new private practice expanded, she returned to work part time with Chris.
In 2001 the family relocated to Scotland and she worked part time for the NHS. As the new practice expanded, so did her hours to provide increased availability of appointments and wider variety of services. As the practice continued to expand, she made the decision to resign from the NHS and now works at the Carlisle clinic full time.
Outside work, Sandra is involved in amateur dramatics at their local theatre and enjoys time with the 'children' - who are now both studying away from home, motorcycling and walking the dog.
